later on you can change the secondary profession of your character, so the secondary really doesn't matter that much; only the skills you have unlocked are of importance.
Warriors don't use their secondary profession that much, so you don't really need to worry too much about secondary profession as a warrior. Off the top of my head, /a, /r and /d are probably the most popular secondaries for endurance daggers, endurance scythe or a pet companion, in that order. /rt or /mo are popular for a hard res. |

the original campaign doesn't matter that much - you can still change to /a, /rt, /p and /d later on by talking to a profession changer once you ascend. W/E is actually a nice profession choice, but don't worry about firestorm and the likes - try to stick with all warrior skills and generally only 2 attribute lines (your weapon of choice and strength). once you play the other campaigns you can buy more skills from other skill trainers.

ok thx alot ^^
I really wondered for a while if it was a smart choice of me but now i know it was a pretty nice choice. One of my friends chose N/E, is that smart? Cause another of my friends said they would get their arsed wooped later on. |

except for a few gimmicky builds, you're generally going to be use 6-8 skills from your primary profession and 1-2 from your secondary profession. i would personally go n/rt as a factions necro, but i assume he's playing in prophecies too so he'll have to wait to change his secondary profession until later on.
tl;dr N/E isn't a terrible choice, focus on your primary profession's skills more than your secondary profession's skills. and remember that your job as a warrior is damage and nothing but it. |

At the start of the game, there are really no "bad" secondary choices. In the early stages you have only a limited number of skills and attribute points available. So, as Neo has said, you should mostly concentrate on your primary profession anyway. If your secondary doesn't seem to be working out well, just don't use.
Later on in the game, which will be after you've gotten more skills, more attribute points, and have a better idea of what you like/want, you will be able to change your secondary. You will also be able to change your secondary as often as you like. |

W/E isn't that bad since there are a few earth spells you can use to enhance your armor and water spells you can freeze enemies with. But in general you should concentrate on being a warrior and only use ele spells to support your warrior ability. Forget about using ele spells to deal damage, use your sword/axe/hammer for that. If you want to deal damage with ele spells you should make an ele.
Almost all combinations are useful since there are almost always some skills from the secondary class you can have use for. And, as its said, you aren't stuck forever with your choice, You can change it later in the game. |

PS: If you need +armor skills to survive as a Warrior, you're doing something wrong.

I go N/Me but have no points in Mesmer skills, I take one PvE skill (Cry of Pain) and one No Attribute (Web of Disruption) from Mesmer, the rest are all Necro (Curses).
